The 30,000 point boost from earning a 3-star rating is crucial to gaining the highest possible score in the level. Star ratings are independent of your score, but can influence it. Slaying any enemy is worth 1,000 points. If you fall of a chasm, you automatically die. You either finish the level or you start over. There’s no way to save your progress mid-game. You can collect a limited number of extra lives strewn throughout the level. Lose all your lives and it’s game over. Each time you make contact with an enemy or touch a row of spikes, you lose a life. You have 3 lives in this game, represented by hearts. Flying enemies are hard to dodge and even harder to kill. To preserve your lives, we recommend ambushing your enemies from behind slowly. Try to kill as many enemies as you encounter to bolster your score. Try not to lose all your lives or fall off a ravine. Kill as many skeletons, ravens, and other enemies as you can. Be prepared to backtrack to ensure that you have the highest possible score in a single playthrough. You can replay all the levels you’ve unlocked. At the start of the game, only the first level is available. Choose a level to play from the level selection screen. The control buttons for the touchscreen version of the game occupy the bottom row of the screen. On the top right corner are the pause button and the sound button. The scoreboard is located at the top center and is divided into 2 parts. View your remaining lives (hearts) on the top left corner of the screen, next to your player character’s avatar. We recommend that desktop players use the keyboard exclusively when playing this game.
